Meet The Package Platoon Elves
Just some of the magical crew who keep the FireStar Workshop glowing all season long
Every letter answered, every parcel packed, every idea brought to life has an elf behind it. Here are a few of the jolly heroes working tirelessly (and occasionally mischievously) to bring our unique brand of joy to the world:
- George - The cheerful helper elf who answers your questions with a warm grin and a mug of cocoa nearby. If kindness were a minifigure piece, he’d hand you a spare.
- Big Tom: - The parcel-packing powerhouse! Legendary for singing festive carols while taping boxes at lightning speed. His renditions are powerful, heartfelt, and… sometimes slightly off-key, but don’t tell him.
- French - The whimsical master of magical mailing routes. French whispers words of encouragement to your parcels before sending them safely on their journey (and swears it makes them travel faster).

Give Your Order the Best Chance to Arrive by Christmas!
Featuring guidance from French, our mystical parcel-whisperer, & Big Tom, our parcel-packing-powerhouse!
The Christmas season is the most magical, and one of the busiest, times in the FireStar Toys Workshop. To give your order the best chance of arriving by Christmas morning, the elves share their most important advice:
1. Order As Early As Possible
The festive season is the busiest time for the workshop, the carriers, customs officers, sorting robots, and Santa-adjacent logistics teams everywhere.
Earlier orders = more time for the elves to prepare your goodies with care (and fewer gingerbread-related delays).
2. Double-Check Shipping Address & Customs Details
Ensure your goodies land under the correct tree by double checking the shipping and delivery details on your Order Confirmation email. Letting us know early that your address is incorrect can be the difference between seasonal success, and festive failure.
3. Allow Extra Processing Time
We normally recommend allowing 3-7 working days for us to process and prepare your order, but December is bustling! Your order may need a little more time whilst Big Tom works his magic.

4. Know Our Recommended Last Ordering Dates for Christmas Delivery
These dates give your order the best possible chance of arriving before Christmas.
They are not guarantees, as carrier capacity and customs can vary, but they are good festive guidance!

Elf Tip: French recommends pretending these dates are “final boss deadlines”; Aim earlier for a perfect victory!
Festive Workshop Update
Because even elves need cocoa breaks!
As December sparkles to life and the mince pies begin to vanish (mysteriously… George denies everything), our merry little team will soon be taking a well-earned Winter Break to recharge their magic, warm their mittens, and build the world’s largest LEGO snowflake.*
*Results may vary.
Holiday Schedule: When the Workshop Sleeps
Whilst the spirit of Christmas sparkles all around, our workshop will be operating with a skeleton crew (usually French and Professor Tom in festive jumpers) and will be completely closed on the following days:
- Christmas Eve – 24th December
- Christmas Day – 25th December
- Boxing Day – 26th December
- New Year’s Eve – 31st December
- New Year’s Day – 1st January
- Day After New Year’s Day – 2nd January
- (Plus our usual Saturdays and Sundays, when even elves enjoy a lie-in!)
During this time, the main team will be sipping cocoa, attempting gingerbread engineering, and enjoying a little festive magic of their own.
Elf Tip: George the cheerful 'helper-elf' advises only messaging once per request. As a fair elf, he deals with the oldest requests first - sending multiple messages updates your initial request, and may push it further down the queue!
What To Expect Over The Festive Period
Whilst the elves are away on their North Pole-adjacent holiday:
- Emails & enquiries may take longer than usual. But as soon as George returns, he’ll answer them with his brightest post-holiday smile.
- Order processing will pause until Big Tom is back at his workbench, refreshed and humming seasonal tunes.
- Dispatch will pick up again as soon as French is back wrangling the reindeer.
